Ben unraveled the genetic and ecological drama of Phlox species and now serves as Higher Education & Laboratory Coordinator at Harvard Forest, while Jacob, a classically trained botanist obsessed with ferns, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 2020, they co-founded Let’s Botanize, an educational nonprofit dedicated to making plant science accessible, engaging, and rigorously grounded in real science.
