On this episode, Jessica explores the mermaids of Lake Michigan and Chicago vampires! For many years, people have reported strange creatures in the waters of Lake Michigan, and even UFOs hovering over the lake. The “Great Horned Serpent,” underground panthers, “The Great Fish,” Little People in the water, and mermaids and mermen are just a few of the lake’s anomalous residents. Jane and Geryl of Midwest Night Watchers join Jessica to take a deep dive into the mermaids of Lake Michigan, and they explore Chicago’s history of vampires, including the Lincoln Park Vampire of 1888, up to present day vampire encounters! Midwest Night Watchers started as a love for the outdoors & star gazing while enjoying a backyard firepit. Geryl and Jane began filming strange activity and anomalies in the night sky.
