Scott has a powerful story, and it starts with basketball saving his life and winds through becoming a teacher, coach, and principal at the Academy — until the desire to isolate from that role took over and he pulled away from people entirely. This past year, he started coming back. Why? Because he realized he had taken it to the extreme, is content with his life, and ready to pass on what he learned.
