He read all he could find and put himself on a path to earning an opportunity to work in this rather niche industry. From submitting design work to a golf course architecture competition, to working at Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Michael wanted in on the golf architecture world and nothing was going to stop him. He gained a couple of different opportunities over time working with a couple of well known firms, including shaping on site helping to build the well known and now famous Tara Iti in New Zealand. Fast forward to today and Michael is now a member of the Society of Australian Golf Course architects having completed his own work to redesign an amazing transformation of Mallacoota Golf Club after the devastating 2019 bushfires, along with recent work at Flinders Golf Club on Victoria's…
