About this episode

The episode reviews the inaugural Four Roses Mother's Day Special Release, a unique bourbon honoring mothers.

Over the past two years, we've reviewed Four Roses annual Father's Day release. However, for the first official time in the history of the brand, Four Roses put out a single barrel/barrel strength gift shop only release to honor all the mothers out there. Dawning the slogan, "all the proof you need for this Mother's day," this inaugural release was made up of numerous OBSQ single barrels that were 14 years old with various proofs in the 115 range. This distillery only release joins other holiday-centric releases and will likely become a yearly tradition. How does this stand up to previous limited roses bottles we tasted? We'll tell you all you need to know about this one and our take might shock you. Also, we recorded this episode on Mother's Day! Special shout out to our friend Jason who was able to secure this bottle and shout out to the all the moms who do so much for all of us. -------------------------- Socials IG: https://www.instagram.com/themashupky FB: https://www.facebook.com/themashupky YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@themashupky Join our community on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/TheMashUpBourbonPodcast Partnership(s) Visit Bourbonoutfitter.com and…
