About this episode

This episode features a conversation with singer-songwriter Rose White, who discusses her music and journey in the industry.

Rose White is a Polish born and London based singer-songwriter that playfully mixes neo-soul with pop and hints of jazz. What stands out in her craft are the raspy vocals, previously compared to the likes of Joy Crookes, Paloma Faith and Olivia Dean as well as honest and often blunt writing that expresses truths in a charmingly relatable way. A perfect example of the above is her sophomore EP released in April this year titled 'A Night With A Sazerac' which Rose celebrated with not one, but two sold-out release parties in London. Coming to London 9 years ago with nothing but £300 and two suitcases, Rose has successfully worked towards paving her way into the industry by playing numerous open-mics, support slots, small clubs to finally headlining bigger spaces with her band. She's been shown support from Help Musicians Organisation, BBC Radio 1's Jodie Bryant, Wonderland Magazine, CLASH Magazine, Sofar Sounds Community, Global Soul and many more, supporting her craft.
