About this episode
The episode reflects on a serendipitous experience of watching a beloved film while exploring themes of self-help and personal reflection.
W/C 1st June 2026 So I was in a hotel on Tuesday night, and I did that thing where I was just flicking through the TV channels and I chanced upon a film I hadn't seen in a long time. In this case it was The Hunt for Red October, and although I hadn't planned to, I settled back and gave myself over to a film I had seen many times before. Personally I think it is a belting movie, great cast and really nicely put together, and just the right thing for that particular moment. What's nice about those kind of happy accidents, is that I would never have been able to tell you thats what I wanted to watch - it needed to be a serendipitous experience. I love it when that happens. Stay safe. As The Dawn Breaks - Richard Hawley Therapy For Me (or TFM as I now refer to it) is a bit of an audio curiosity. It started out as a mechanism for me to clear my head, with the hope that by saying stuff out loud it would act as a little bit of self-help. It's remains loose in style, fluid in terms of content and raw - it's a one take, press record and see what happens, affair. If you want to keep in touch with TFM and the other stuff I do then please follow me on Facebook , Insta , Twitter or Patreon…
