W/C 8th June 2026 Because this week is a bit of an 'on location' episode I didn't get around to mentioning a few other things. Firstly, the parking notice appeared for APCOA who handle the parking at Manchester Airport, a cool £100 fine for genuinely forgetting to pay the £5 charge. As it turns out I was in the parking zone for 2 minutes and thirty-five seconds. I may well still share my thoughts on this further down the road... Secondly, and before heading off, it was Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit in Manchester at Bridgewater Hall. Everything about it was sublime, the venue, the setlist, the band and the man himself. He played a few 'band versions' of songs from his latest release, a solo acoustic album called Foxes in the Snow, and I can't think of a better way to name this week's episode than to share one of those songs. Especially as I don't recall a pertinent song about overhead lockers of very big barges. Stay safe.
