About this episode

The episode explores the concept of proximity to acquaintances and the technology that allows us to track our connections.

W/C 11th May 2026 A thought struck me as I was walking through Charles de Gaulle airport last week. I wondered how far I was standing (at that precise moment, in that exact spot) from somebody that I knew, but was unaware of. And not just that moment, maybe the last time I was in London or in Leeds, or on holiday or on the train, etc, etc. Clearly with the tech we have at our disposal we can (to an extent) answer that question with stuff such as location sharing, and snap-maps. Was an old school friend also passing through CDG at the same time as me last week, or taking coffee in Headingley yesterday whilst I was at the cricket, or being stuck in the same queue as me on the M1 on Tuesday evening. Answers on a postcard please. Stay safe. Honesty - Billy Joel Therapy For Me (or TFM as I now refer to it) is a bit of an audio curiosity.
