I greet you in Jesus’ precious name! It is Monday morning, the 4th of May, 2026, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We go to the Book of Deuteronomy 2:7, in the Old Testament: “For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.” Then we go straight to the Book of Philippians 4:19 : ”And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” We are living in difficult times, there’s no doubt about it. The price of fuel is skyrocketing, it is affecting people in every sector of life - the transporters, the shops, the farmers, in many, many ways, because without diesel we can’t plough the fields, without diesel we can’t use our vehicles to transport our food, and what happens? The price just keeps going up. It doesn’t matter what form of transport, they are being affected at the moment, but we need to keep focused on the Lord. The Lord reminded the children of Israel that He had supplied their needs for forty years…
