I greet you in Jesus’ precious name! It is Friday morning, the 1st of May, 2026, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We start in 2 Corinthians 5:14: ” For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;…” The love of Christ compels us! The love of Christ is so great, it cannot be contained and that is why when somebody meets Jesus Christ for the first time they can’t help themselves. I think they said about me, for the first six months, “You need to lock him up because he’s like a bull in a china shop”, but the fire, the love, the passion! God is so great, and when you realise what He’s done for you, your sins have been forgiven, you’ve been given a new start, you want to tell everybody. What was the last thing that Jesus said to the disciples before He ascended into heaven? Mark 16:15: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel …” You see, the love of God is too large for anyone to contain. We just can’t keep it to ourselves, can we? His love has moved us to such extremes. His love has the first word and the last word in everything we do. I got saved on the 18th of February…
