The following is a conversation with Dr David Clarke. Today we dive deep in to the famous Calvine UFO and British UFOlogy. Dr. David Clarke, an Associate Professor at Sheffield Hallam University, shares insights into his expertise in investigative journalism, Freedom of Information processes and gives us an insight in to his decades long investigative work in the UFO cases.With a background in journalism, including award-winning investigative reporting, David transitioned into academia, teaching research and media skills while contributing to folklore and supernatural studies. He discusses his pioneering work on UFO disclosures, having campaigned since the early 2000s for the release of Ministry of Defence (MoD) UFO files, including the Rendlesham Forest incident and the secretive ‘Condign Report.’ Clarke’s efforts led to the declassification of thousands of documents at The National Archives, attracting global attention. Beyond journalism, Clarke co-founded the Centre for Contemporary Legend, focusing on urban myths and supernatural beliefs, and authored 12 books exploring UFOlogy and folklore.
