Her mother and stepfather were no help when she came to them while dealing with her stepbrother's physical and sexual attacks. They never believed her pleas. Her description of those years is distressing, and our hearts go out to her for suffering as she did. She later thought she had met the right guy. He tricked her into thinking he was a good person; he was anything but that. His abuse was the underlying current of their marriage. This is a survivor story. It is worth your time to follow the heroic life of Megan and see how she managed to be so positive when nothing appeared to be working in her favor.
