What you push away pushes back Here's the physics principle: What you push away pushes back. And while it's pushing back, it's building its own muscle. What we push away grows stronger. We have to be in relationship with our fears, not in opposition to them. Most fear is based on past experience that we project into the future. The catch? Fighting our fear creates this inner battle. That inner battle is such an energy burn. So draining. So hard on the nervous system. The irony is that we created the fear. Every single one of our fears comes from the unconscious mind. Each one is a mind baby. You are the mother, the father, the parent of all of your fears. Your job? It's to lovingly parent them. Not to deny them. Not to abandon them. ( That would make you a very bad parent .) Relax your grip on your fear. You bring your fear into your heart. You have a conversation with it. You say, I hear you. I've got you. And the Divine has me. As long as we are running away from fear, we don't look at it. The moment we stop and look at fear, it begins to dissolve.
