One of the most common phrases you'll hear in golf is, "Just swing your swing."And to a point, I understand what people mean. When you look at the best players in the world, not everybody swings the club the same way. Jim Furyk, Matthew Wolff, Bubba Watson, Scottie Scheffler – they all have movements that look unique. But here's what most golfers miss...Those players have spent decades building those swings. They've hit millions of golf balls. They've learned exactly how to time those movements and make them repeatable under pressure. The average golfer doesn't have that luxury.Most golfers work 40 or 50 hours a week. They might get to the range once or twice and play on the weekend. They simply don't have 100 hours every week to perfect compensations and unusual movement patterns.That's why I don't fully agree with the advice of "just swing your swing."For most golfers, the goal shouldn't be to make a flawed motion work.
