LUCA FORMENTINI - ANGEL LOST Luca Formentini 's musical journey started at the age of 10, after listening to the sound resonating through the body of an old piano. This fascination for sound still resonates in his work, on his solo albums but also in the collaborations with many other artists like Robert Rich, Markus Stockhausen, Holger Czukay (to name just a few). Apart from the music that is released on album, he frequently contributes to art installations, video and movie productions, and choreopgraphies. Formentini 's music 'combines field recordings, electronics, self-made instruments, un-guitar, and a studio-as-instrument approach. It is improvisatory, process-based, and often sculptural, not only in terms of sound design but also in composition. It deploys stark contrasts, emphasizes tension, and uses silence as a key compositional element. It is intentionally incomplete, understated, dreamy, often haunted, and underscored with mild melancholy.' In 2025 he released the album I Am Ghost .
