Hey there, and welcome back. I'm Julia Cartwright, and I'm so glad you're here with me today. Wherever you are, whatever Wednesday morning brought you—the emails, the to-do lists, the little knot in your chest that won't quite untie—I want you to know you're in exactly the right place. Let's take twenty minutes together and actually do something about that stress instead of just white-knuckling through it. Find yourself somewhere comfortable, somewhere you won't be interrupted if you can. Sitting or lying down, however feels best. Let your shoulders drop away from your ears. Good. Now, take one deep breath with me. All the way in through your nose, and out through your mouth like you're fogging up a window. Do that one more time. Already, your nervous system is getting the memo that we're shifting gears. Here's what we're going to do today, and I love this practice because it actually works with how your body processes stress, not against it.
