Authority is everywhere in our lives, and how we respond to it reveals our relationship with God. Paul's instructions in Ephesians show us that earthly authority structures—from family to workplace—are ordained by God for our good. Children are called to obey and honor their parents, while fathers must lead without exasperating their children. In the workplace, Christians should work with integrity as if serving Christ directly. Leaders must exercise authority as stewards, not owners, using their position to bless rather than control others. When we properly submit to Christ as the ultimate authority, it transforms how we handle every other authority relationship in our lives.
