John Dyhouse shares his personal connection to a song he wrote, discussing the creative process and the difficulty of selecting the final version.
Once in a while, something seems to work out right and for me personally this song just hit the spot. Not the title I started writing with but I changed it once I had finished, by shrinking down to just one word. I do hope that you like this track (I have several alternatives all of which I love) one of a number of versions which I really had difficulty deselecting. I may well post one of these alternatives in the future - who knows when things are slow.
