In this episode, Alexia Eleni Monda shares her personal journey of being diagnosed with ADHD at 30 and discusses the implications of this late diagnosis on her life and the creation of the podcast.
Almost a year ago, I got my ADHD diagnosis at 30... it was bittersweet to say the least. I had grief for my younger self because I spent my life wondering why she couldn't get her shit together , and relief that my future self could find the answers. In this first episode, I get honest about why I blew up a podcast (Lexicon For Life) that was working and started again, what it actually felt like to be diagnosed late in life, and why the women sliding into my DMs made this calling impossible to ignore. I talk about my years of learning hypnotherapy, NLP and nervous system regulation by living it myself and why I refuse to let ADHD become a crutch. I couldn't find the connection between education and real empowerment after my diagnosis, so I've created it for myself and other women like me. If you're late-diagnosed, self-diagnosed or just curious about ADHD, you're invited to the party! Welcome to The Late Diagnosed Diaries darling. Let's reclaim your ADHD and make shift happen!
