Your Will - Jesus in Gethsemane! "Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21 In the shadowy grove of Gethsemane, Jesus fell to the ground in anguished prayer, His heart heavy with the weight of our sins. As He faced imminent suffering, His spirit wrestled with the bitter cup prepared for Him — yet with unwavering faith, He beautifully proclaimed, "Not my will, but Yours be done" (Luke 22:42). This moment reminds us of the profound power in surrendering our preferences, embracing God’s divine purpose with open hearts. Jesus teaches us that true transformation begins when we yield our will to the Father. Proverbs 19:21 tells us, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Like Jesus in Gethsemane, we must humbly seek His will over our own. Remember, "When we release our burdens to the divine, we open our hearts to a grace so vast, it transforms our struggle into peace."
