About this episode

Giuseppe Paciullo shares his journey from Italy to America and his experiences in the restaurant industry.

Giuseppe Paciullo has spent exactly half of his life in America, after spending the first half in his native Italy. He came to NYC, where he met his wife (a Rochester native) while she was in school and he was working in his Uncle's Italian restaurant on THE Arthur Avenue ("The Real Little Italy") in The Bronx. Eventually moving to Rochester, Giuseppe opened the most authentic Italian restaurant in Rochester (can't be more authentic than when the owner and head chef is "off the boat") even though he will tell you, Italian cuisine, true Italian cuisine, doesn't actually exist in the way we think of it... Mentioned in this episode: Punches & Popcorn The masters of Couch Potato style Mike Huntone, Jason Bills, and Dr. Dominic D’Amore take a deep dive into the best and worst of martial arts films.
