About this episode
Scott Friedman discusses viewing life as an adventure of self-discovery and the importance of win/win thinking.
There is benefit in viewing our life as an adventure of self discovery. For me at least, it provides an optimal level of detachment as well as a sense of humor. For example, when things go bad, I can understand that as my mind providing contrast so I can appreciate when things go well. When I find out I'm mistaken about something, I see it as an opportunity to change my thinking making it more effective. When things go really well, I can enjoy and appreciate it more because it's special. Viewing life as an adventure gives me the detachment to see things more clearly than I would otherwise. Part of my self discovery, self acceptance, has me accepting we are all ONE. Because we are all ONE, we all rise and fall together. That means there is a win/win solution to every problem. I've taken on the goal to advance win/win thinking in the world. I offer coaching to help people identify win/win solutions and grow the self acceptance that heals.
