From A Glossary of the People, Places, and Events of Alkyon The Annexation of Canorai— After a significant military campaign beginning in the year 5741, the independent southern territory of Canorai was annexed by the Kingdom of Denoria in 5783 and officially became a duchy under Denorian rule. During and after this prolonged conflict, numerous groups of Canorain people were displaced north into existing Denorian territory.
