About this episode

In this episode, Andrew Jobling interviews Oluwole Babatunde about his journey from grief to purpose and his new book 'Adapt and Advance'.

In episode 368, I speak with physician, pychiatrist, and author Oluwole Babatunde. He was born and raised in Nigeria, where his life was forever changed by the loss of both parents at a young age—his mother passed when he was 7, and his father at 13. These early experiences of grief and uncertainty could have broken him, but they instead ignited a deep sense of purpose and faith that still drives him today. Wole became a physician in Nigeria, then moved to the United States in 2014 to pursue a Ph.D. in Epidemiology. Despite the odds, he went on to publish over 60 scientific papers, win the prestigious NIH F99/K00 award, and become Chief Resident in Psychiatry at Prisma Health in South Carolina. His new book, 'Adapt and Advance', he shares the framework he uses to help people turn their deepest trials into a platform for transformation. This is an inspiring podcast, not to be missed.
