About this episode

Dr. Cheryl Hardy reflects on the importance of engaging with our senses in daily life as a precursor to exploring the Sensory Exercise.

On today's podcast episode, Dr. Cheryl Hardy is taking us through some initial reflections for our upcoming focus on the Sensory Exercise. While we often navigate our daily lives using our five senses without a second thought, these senses fundamentally define how we engage with the world and one another. As we prepare to explore this topic, she invites you to consider the following sensory perspectives: Regarding vision and hearing, do you truly see and hear those around you? In terms of touch and scent, she encourages you to reflect on how you feel about your interactions and whether you notice the subtle aromas in your environment. Finally, consider the textures of your experience—did you truly notice the taste of what you consumed today? She is looking forward to diving deeper into these reflections with you soon. We are looking forward to you being a part of the God and Therapy Community. To get connected, email Dr. Cheryl and let her know you want to be included.
