About this episode
The episode discusses the experience of grief after losing a child and how to navigate the emotional challenges that arise.
When we lose a child, we often fall into "the foggy abyss," the place where our mind is in a constant fog and emotions are all over the place. I believe this serves to protect our minds, even though it can be unsettling. How long does it last? That depends. We can slip in and out of the fog over the course of years, but that's not all bad news. Once we learn to recognize it, we can navagate and manage our grief better.
