Episode 74 | What is the "new normal?"
From Silent Grief Podcast by Jimmy and Clara Hinton

About this episode
The episode discusses the concept of the 'new normal' after losing a child and how individuals can find a way to function in life again.
The elephant in the room is that we are not the same after losing a child. NOTHING is the same, nor will it ever be. But there is a point in which we equalize a little bit and we find a place in life when we can breathe again. We call this the "new normal." It's a sort of baseline that we are familiar with. So what is your "new normal?" Maybe it's simply the ability to function day-to-day. Maybe it's feeling physically fit again. Maybe it's taking up crocheting or fishing again. Whatever it is, we can get there.
