Dr. Nathan S. Bryan discusses the importance of nitric oxide for longevity and health.
Dr. Nathan S. Bryan is a PhD biochemist, nitric oxide pioneer, and professor of molecular medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He has spent over 25 years researching nitric oxide, holds more than a dozen patents, has published hundreds of highly cited papers, and authored six books including The Secret of Nitric Oxide: Bring the Science to Life. He is the founder of N101 (formerly Pneuma Nitric Oxide) and Bryan Therapeutics, where he is developing nitric oxide-based therapies for Alzheimer's, heart disease, and non-healing wounds. At 52 years old, Dr. Bryan has the vascular age and biological organ age of a 29-year-old — and he attributes it entirely to nitric oxide. This episode is a masterclass on one of the most important molecules in the human body that almost nobody is talking about. If you care about longevity, brain health, blood pressure, energy, inflammation, or disease prevention — this one is essential listening. In this episode, we cover: - What nitric oxide actually is a signaling molecule that regulates blood flow, activates mitochondria, releases stem cells, and prevents telomere shortening - Why the loss of nitric oxide production…
