The episode explores the connections between various artists and songs that have influenced the host's life.
W/C 15th June 2026 Toyah took me to the Beatles, and the Beatles took me to Sarah McLachlan. (Of course it starts with a Apple TV box-set, but that will become obvious as you listen to this weeks episode…) It could so easily have been Toyah, as ‘It’s a Mystery’ is one of the earliest chart tunes I can remember being fixated on (thinking about it, if you throw in Prince Charming and Stand & Deliver, it does explain a lot). And whilst it ain’t the greatest of the Fabs catalogue, I do love the way the drums kick back in after the break in MMT. But Sarah gets the nod this week, it’s a classic tune and she is an amazing artist. In fact if you have never listened to Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, then you have a treat on store. Stay safe. Building A Mystery - Sarah McLachan Therapy For Me (or TFM as I now refer to it) is a bit of an audio curiosity. It started out as a mechanism for me to clear my head, with the hope that by saying stuff out loud it would act as a little bit of self-help. It's remains loose in style, fluid in terms of content and raw - it's a one take, press record and see what happens, affair. If you want to keep in touch with TFM and the other stuff I do then please…
