| 2/14/26 | ![]() A-Z Til Infinity - BONUS Episode #1 - "Hammer & Ice" | In support of the team's typical alphabetical foray into 90's hip-hop nostalgia, the A-Z til Infinity series will now be introducing a series of bonus episodes affording us the platform to speak more broadly on specific topics. With upcoming episodes that will see us delve into hip-hop's range of 90s music videos that saw the full range of do-it-yourself productions eventually scaling all the way up to the infamous Hype Williams era of $1million epics; we also have upcoming discussions that will find us delve deeper into a selection of our favourite hip-hop DJs and producers that painted the golden era's very canvas. Before then however, let's we're turning our attention to two of the decade's most divisive icons in MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice. At the height of their respective popularity, a transition to the silver screen seemed the logical way to capitalise upon their success so we were eventually treated to MC Hammer's 'Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em' in 1990 and 'Cool as Ice' in 1991. A lengthy discussion unfolds within the team as we unpack the pair's popularity, view and discuss both films and consider whether history has been kind to each's contributions to hip-hop. https://www.4everinelectricdreams.com/ Dan, Tee-J and Imran revel in their affections for 90s hip-hop by playing the expanded version of the Alphabet Game - each episode of A-Z Til Infinity sees the trio delve into subsequent letters of the alphabet in a bid to remember, reminisce and celebrate our affections for the bygone Golden Era of hip-hop by spotlighting artists and groups that meant the most to each of us. | — | ||||||

| 12/5/25 | ![]() C.E.N.K. #73: "What If... WWE" | Episode #73 of the Close Encounters of the Nerd Kind podcast finds Tee-J, Dan and Imran returning to the always riveting world of pro-wrestling. One of the most compelling aspects of the sport is the fact that it exists within its own self contained world and its greatest moments, matches and superstars are often born by a set of serendipitous circumstances created by luck, timing and opportunity. While names like Roman Reigns, Hulk Hogan and The Rock were pegged for tremendous success at the outset of their careers, names like Stone Cold Steve Austin and John Cena only found their fame by circumstances that positioned them in the right place and the right time. But for every Cinderella story, there's one about opportunities that others lost so today's episode looks at the good and the bad as we sidestep the preordained 'what is meant to be will be' fates of our heroes and ponder the question... "what if?" What If... Cody Rhodes never left the WWE? What If... Hulk Hogan never became the face of the business? What If... CM Punk had stayed also? www.4everinelectricdreams.com/ Emanating from London, UK, and hosted by Dan Collacott, Tee-J Sutherland and Imran Mirza, our 4ever in Electric Dreams website and accompanying podcast is designed to help us celebrate the things we loved growing up and the things that continue to excite and inspire us today. | 11/17/25 | ![]() 90s State of Mind #25: "Remembering D'Angelo" | Welcome to Episode #25 of the 90s State of Mind podcast - a collaborative project between 4ever in Electric Dreams and Blue-in-Green:RADIO. This podcast series sees Imran (London, UK) and Rhonda (California, USA) delve into some of their favourite releases from the 90s and for this episode, the pair celebrate the timeless and pioneering music of D'Angelo. Michael Eugene Archer - better known as D'Angelo - sadly passed away 14th October 2025. Following the success of albums 'Brown Sugar' (1995), 'Voodoo' (2000) and 'Black Messiah' (2014), D'Angelo went on to achieve widespread acclaim and be heralded as ushering in the introduction of neo-soul, opening the door to artists including Erykah Badu, Bilal and Jill Scott. As a Grammy-winning artist, Billboard named him one of the greatest R&B artists, while Rolling Stone magazine ranked him as one of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time. In 2025, D'Angelo was inducted into the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame. Imran & Rhonda delve deep into D'Angelo's music, exploring each of his three album releases, numerous collaborations and b-sides, plus they regard his efforts within the wider context of contemporary soul. www.4everinelectricdreams.com/ Blue-in-Green:RADIO is a London-based online internet radio station which celebrates 21st century soul, jazz, funk, Latin & hip-hop music. www.blueingreenradio.com TuneIn: bit.ly/2LBK0BD | — | ||||||

Presented by Imran Mirza from London, UK, and Vahé Vishapakagh Koshayan from Melbourne, Australia, for this episode we dive into two cult classics: Jim Jarmusch’s Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999) and Keanu Reeves’ directorial debut Man of Tai Chi (2013). Ghost Dog blends hip-hop, samurai philosophy and mafia codes in a meditative hitman tale starring Forest Whitaker while Man of Tai Chi brings Keanu to the director's chair — and into the villain role — in a slick martial arts flick about fighting, morality and spiritual discipline in modern-day China. We unpack the East-meets-West aesthetics, the existential questions and discuss why both films punch way above their weight in the action genre. | 5/27/25 | ![]() 90s State of Mind #23: "D'Angelo: Live at the Jazz Cafe" | Welcome to Episode #23 of the 90s State of Mind podcast - a collaborative project between 4ever in Electric Dreams and Blue-in-Green:RADIO. This podcast series sees Imran (London, UK) and Rhonda (California, USA) delve into some of their favourite releases from the 90s and for this episode, the pair celebrate the 1998 album from the neo-soul pioneer, D'Angelo's 'Live at the Jazz Cafe'. Recorded in 1995 following the release of D'Angelo's debut full-length 'Brown Sugar', 'Live at the Jazz Cafe' is a live album by neo-soul luminary released on June 30, 1998, on EMI Records. It was later released in Japan on December 7, 1999, with a bonus track. The live recordings are taken from D'Angelo's appearance at the Jazz Café in London, England, on September 14, 1995. This podcast series typically sees Imran (London, UK) and Rhonda (California, USA) delve into some of their favourite releases from the 90s and for this episode but this episode sees the duo take the conversation in a slightly different direction than usual. Today's episode finds Imran and Rhonda discussing Kate Nash's comments at the end of last year stating "The Music Industry Is Corrupt And Fails Artists Completely" - Nash made further headlines by admitting to raising money for her tour by providing "personal" pictures via her OnlyFans page. While the news proved shocking to many, it also opened up conversation about the industry today so we discuss what the industry's responsibilities actually are to its artists and we also ask, with the burgeoning threat of AI, are big budget record labels and streaming services the real enemy anymore? www.4everinelectricdreams.com/ Blue-in-Green:RADIO is a London-based online internet radio station which celebrates 21st century soul, jazz, funk, Latin & hip-hop music. www.blueingreenradio.com TuneIn: bit.ly/2LBK0BD | — | ||||||

| 2/17/25 | ![]() Supple & Lean | A Geekcast 11: 'Abashed the Devil Stood...' (30 years of The Crow) | Welcome to Episode #11 of the 4ever in Electric Dreams & CONFESSIONS OF A CURLY MIND co-production - Supple & Lean | A Geekcast. Presented by Imran Mirza from London, UK, and Vahé Vishapakagh Koshayan from Melbourne, Australia, for this episode the duo delve into all things related to 'The Crow'. With origins from James O'Barr's 1989 comic book series 'The Crow', the impassioned piece of work spawned its first on-screen iteration with the Alex Proyas-helmed movie in 1994. Starring the dearly departed Brandon Lee in a career-defining performance, the film went on to achieve cult status and has been revered since its release now 31 years ago. Following the 1994 original, subsequent entries within the franchise were marked by 'The Crow: City of Angels' (1996), 'The Crow: Salvation' (2000) and 'The Crow: Wicked Prayer' (2005) with neither generating favourable reviews or the money required to really justify the iteration that would follow. 'The Crow: Stairway to Heaven' - the 1998 TV series - perhaps generated the most favourable reviews but didn't get the chance to continue their story with the planned second season which never came to fruition; yet more Crows followed with a mix of the stories recounting the forlorn tragedy of the ill-fated lovers Eric Draven and Shelly Webster amongst others who were wronged by the harsh cruelty of an unjust life. The 30 year milestone has been marked by the release of the latest iteration of the vengeful vigilante, this time with Rupert Sanders in the director's chair leading a cast of Bill Skarsgård, FKA Twigs and Danny Huston. With Vahé and Imran both long-time fans of the 1994 original, the time seemed right to have a lengthy chat about their affections for Proyas' masterpiece, delve into the comics for the first time and revisit the sequels and reboots in an incredibly expansive conversation into James O'Barr's incredible world. The show today features original music from Supple & Lean featuring Shelly Draven with 'Your Dark Path'. www.4everinelectricdreams.com/ Emanating from London, UK, the 4ever in Electric Dreams website and podcast network is designed to help us celebrate the things we loved growing up and the things that continue to excite and inspire us today. | 1/22/25 | ![]() 90s State of Mind #20 ::: BONUS EPISODE ::: Rapping at 50 | Welcome to Episode #20 of the 90s State of Mind podcast - a collaborative project between 4ever in Electric Dreams and Blue-in-Green:RADIO. This podcast series typically sees Imran (London, UK) and Rhonda (California, USA) delve into some of their favourite releases from the 90s and for this episode but this episode sees the duo take the conversation in a slightly different direction than usual. The show today is inspired by Andre 3000 and his comments made to GQ in November 2023 about rapping as a 48 year old man confirming sadly that he has no inclination to ever rap again and that he would feel "inauthentic" in doing so, even jokily asking what he would even tap about before citing colonoscopies and bad eyesight as potential topics. Andre's perspectives haven't been shared by all of his contemporaries as 2024 saw the release of projects by LL Cool J (56) who released 'The Force', Common (52) collaborated with Pete Rock for Part 1 of 'The Auditorium', Snoop Dogg (53) reconnected with Dr Dre for 'Missionary' amongst a slew of other projects from notable hip-hop icons. So we're ultimately discussing rapping at 50. Is hip-hop a young person's game? Is rapping at 50 something to be embraced or should rappers have the courtesy to know when the time is right to ride off into the sunset? www.4everinelectricdreams.com/ Blue-in-Green:RADIO is a London-based online internet radio station which celebrates 21st century soul, jazz, funk, Latin & hip-hop music. www.blueingreenradio.com TuneIn: bit.ly/2LBK0BD | — | ||||||

Presented by Imran Mirza from London, UK, and Vahé Vishapakagh Koshayan from Melbourne, Australia, the duo delve into the cult phenomenon of 'The Room' (2003). Directed, written, produced and starring the enigmatic Tommy Wiseau, 'The Room' has since gone on to live in an unprecedented level of infamy - initially hailed as one of the worst films ever made, it's unmatched level of storytelling, disjointed narrative and poorly-received performances and dialogue have incredibly secured a loyal and devoted following making something of a sensation of the film's creator in the process. Famously immortalised by James Franco and company in the massively popular and award-winning 'The Disaster Artist' (2017), the film continues to find new audiences more than twenty years after its initial release. With Vahé a long time fan of the film and Imran just recently having seen it, tune in for a great conversation discussing the film's lore and legacy as well some standout scenes. We're also very excited about the show's original music in support of the conversation so please listen out for another Supple & Lean original - 'Tommy's In Control (The Room)' featuring Denny Dennington III. www.4everinelectricdreams.com/ Emanating from London, UK, the 4ever in Electric Dreams website and podcast network is designed to help us celebrate the things we loved growing up and the things that continue to excite and inspire us today.
