| 6/20/26 | ![]() The Anthony edition with Mr. Corona | Hello Aaron, First and foremost, thank you for the invitation to join you on Aaron’s Opinion. I am truly honored by the opportunity and look forward to our conversation. By way of introduction, my name is Anthony Corona. I am a writer, broadcaster, advocate, mentor, and the founder of The Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts and Digital Media Content Services. Storytelling has been the central thread running through my life for as long as I can remember. Long before launching my own media platform, I spent more than a decade working in journalism and entertainment media, including time with The Associated Press, where I covered entertainment and popular culture. Communication, community, and helping people tell their stories have always been at the heart of what I do. My life changed dramatically in 2016 when I lost my sight suddenly due to complications from shingles. Like many people facing a life altering event, I found myself forced to reinvent nearly every aspect of my personal and professional life. What initially felt like an ending eventually became the beginning of a new chapter, one built around resilience, adaptation, advocacy, and rediscovering purpose. Today, I continue that mission through The Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts, a growing network of programs focused on disability, accessibility, advocacy, entertainment, technology, faith, LGBTQIA plus issues, guide dogs, current events, and the shared human experience. Our goal is simple but powerful. We strive to create meaningful conversations, amplify underrepresented voices, build bridges between communities, and remind people that every voice has value and every story deserves to be heard. In addition to my media work, I currently serve as Vice President of Blind LGBT Pride International, where I help foster community, advocacy, education, and connection among blind LGBTQIA plus individuals and allies around the world. I am also fortunate to serve as a mentor, friend, and resource to many people across multiple intersectional communities. Whether through disability advocacy, LGBTQIA plus outreach, accessibility initiatives, employment discussions, faith conversations, or simply helping someone navigate a difficult chapter in life, I believe strongly in showing up for people and helping them find their own voice. At my core, I am a fierce believer in advocacy, community engagement, and the social contract we share with one another. I believe that progress happens when we listen, when we learn, and when we are willing to share our stories openly and honestly. I would love for our conversation to explore both the life I built before blindness and the reinvention that followed. The challenges, the lessons, the unexpected opportunities, and the work I continue to do today all helped shape the person I have become. While blindness changed many things, it never changed my belief in the power of communication, connection, and human potential. Thank you again for the invitation. I am looking forward to spending time with you and your audience and sharing my journey. Warm regards, Anthony Corona Founder The Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts and Digital Media Content Services Vice President Blind LGBT Pride Internationalwww.anthonycorona.com Sent from my iPhoneBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/aaron-s-opinion--5920599/support. | 1h 19m 13s | ||||||
| 6/15/26 | ![]() Braille blindness & Britta | Hi everyone. I'm Britta from "Braille and blindness" here in Denmark. In this episode of Aaron's Opinion I try to tell you everything about how seven years ago I was so lucky, that a 3 yr old blind girl entered the kindergarten I was working at. How I got to follow her all the way through kindergarten and into school, where we're about to enter 4th grade right after the sommer holiday. How I try to make a new approach on the work with blind children by the help of everyone around them, how to sometimes make the impact of being blind appear less and how to make learning materials from scratch. All this is this episode and on my Facebook page "Braille and blindness". | 2/12/26 | ![]() Blindness is not the problem with Clint V Aiken | My name is Clinton Aiken, I am 41 years old from Miami Florida. I have been blind now 13 years due to diabetic retinopathy, and God has humbled me, a little bit about me. I do work for FedEx Ground as a package handler come, I’ll call myself, Mr. blind boss because everything I have been through the past 13 years I have bossed up about it while being blind, I have had a kidney and pancreas transplant on February 7. It will be 11 years. I went totally blind in 2013, I am big on family. I love to have fun, help people, write short stories, enjoy life, live life, and just try to be the best version of myself I can be. I live my life by a model I have 99 problems being blind. It’s not one, that is my model because if I worried about me being blind, I would not be able to handle every other problem that I deal with along with me being blind. In this journey of my past 13 years, I have defeated diabetes, high blood pressure, dialysis, kidney failure, and I am in a boxing ring with blindness, being blind it may look hard, but if you put your mind to it, it’s actually easy, I prefer to be blind rather than inside it because I learned every day. I have to use my brain 24 hours a day to do everything that I want to do and I love it, it strengthens my brain. It makes me a smarter person. It’s called muscle memory. But for the most part, I am just looking to let my story be told so one day my story can’t actually inspire someone to do better about their health, if I could touch anyone with my story or about my story, I would love to touch the rapper Lil Boosie because he is a diabetic and he has a voice with that being said I would not want him to go through what I have been through and I would just like to tell him stay healthy, keep doing what you doing and you motivate more people than you think you, your music and everything you do motivates me to keep going on, but my biggest motivation to keep going on and never give up is my family. I wouldn’t know what to do without them. https://www.patreon.com/aarons...Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/aaron-s-opinion--5920599/support. | 1h 44m 56s | ||||||

| 2/3/26 | ![]() Down on the farm with Jason Duck Barber | –––––––––––––– Podcast Description My name is Jason Barber, but most people know me as Duck. I am a legally blind cattle farmer in southern Middle Tennessee. I own and operate a 100 plus acre family farm that turns 160 years old this year. I am an eighth generation farmer. Farming has always been part of my life. But in midlife, everything changed. I was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a progressive condition that took away much of my sight. Many people would have walked away. I chose to adapt. With the help of assistive technologies and sheer determination, I continue to operate this historic farm largely on my own. But this podcast is about more than farming. It is about growing up on this land. It is about serving as a career firefighter and 911 dispatcher. It is about facing sudden and tragic loss with the passing of my parents. And it is about learning how to move forward when life forces you to see the world differently. In this podcast, I share my journey of resilience, faith, adaptation, and purpose. You will hear how I learned to keep doing what I love, even when the path ahead was uncertain. If my story speaks to you, I invite you to learn more. You can find real life examples of how I live and farm with vision loss on my YouTube channel and Facebook page, both called Farming Blind with Duck. ––––––––––––––https://www.patreon.com/aarons...Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/aaron-s-opinion--5920599/support. | 2h 03m 31s | ||||||
| 2/1/26 | ![]() Traveling the world with Sheldon Francis | Hey everybody, my name is Sheldon, also known as Sheldon the Blind Traveller. I lost my eyesight 15 years ago due to glaucoma, a hereditary eye disease that runs in my family. Losing my vision was life-changing, but I made a decision early on that it would never limit the way I live, dream, or experience the world. Today, I’m a blind world traveler, content creator, and motivational voice who proves that disability does not mean inability. I’ve traveled to 23 countries and counting, navigating the world through sound, touch, intuition, and connection with people from all walks of life. My mission is to inspire both people with disabilities and those without to step outside their comfort zones, get a passport, and truly experience life. Through my content, I share real, unfiltered travel experiences, culture, food, nightlife, and personal growth—all from the perspective of a blind traveler. I use my platform to challenge stereotypes, break barriers, and show that vision isn’t just about sight, it’s about mindset.
