Welcome all you live action anime heroes! On todays episode we wanted to sit down and talk all things live action anime…I know that most times we get our hopes up whenever they announce a live action version of our favorite animes only to be let down by a horrific mess of 120 minutes of patchwork from the source material...but look at One Piece! In this session we wanted to analyze the good the bad and the ugly from some of the most notable attempts at live action anime that we have seen in the past and even look towards what may be on the horizon! Welcome Back all you Melanated Mangaka to another episode of Anime Sundays Podcast! The Nerdz are back with a new Series called Sunday Spotlights! We will be doing a series of interviews with different black creators in the nerd space from Comics and Manga to Anime and Gaming, giving all our fam out there the drop on some of their upcoming projects and works. Our very first guest of the series is comic book writer of the Melanites and CEO of his own comic book company Born again Thugs LLC, Tyger Moore! We got a chance to get a copy of issue 1 of his new comic book series The Melanites and talk deeper about the unique characters and inspiration behind his work. The series gives a twist on traditional religion, Egyptian mythos, and gang culture and the resulting world makes for a good start of what seems to be a very wild ride! Join us as Tyger drops some gems on the business side of the comic book industry as well as gives us details on how his entire corporation is black owned on every front from start to finish and how they are even giving back to the mother land in the process! With the 2nd season giving us an even deeper look at the world and its many characters like Ghislaines brother Gyes, Roxys parents and their unique long ear tribe and of course…Orsted the dragon God himself! Welcome back NERDS to Anime Sundays! It is finally time for us to debut our very special Restaurants X Anime series with our first live podcast recording from Sticky Rice Lao Street Food Orlando! We got the amazing opportunity to sit and have a delicious lao family style meal with the chef and management of Sticky rice Orlando and get into just what makes their food so distinct from other Asian street food!
