In this episode, a young cadet leads a manhunt for a murderer on the newly colonized planet Zaphyr, uncovering a deep secret that threatens the colony's existence.

Zaphyr, rich in valuable sapphires, is Earth’s newest colony. A murder has occurred there. Tiago Rollo, a young cadet, has been assigned with leading a manhunt to find the murderer. Despite being a misfit, there is a quality about Tiago that leads his Captain to believe he is the best man for the job.
