City employees discovered his body while emptying the can in the forty-four hundred block of Pack Saddle Pass just after twelve twenty-six p.m. He was pronounced dead an hour later. According to the Austin Police Department, Vo's body showed signs of blunt force trauma. Detectives believe he was assaulted and placed in the trash can sometime Friday between four a.m. and five thirty a.m., more than thirty hours before he was found. APD Homicide and Forensic Science Crime Scene specialists responded. No arrests have been made.
