Wealth, family, comfort, success, status, and possessions can all be blessings, but they should never own the heart. This Islamic reminder explains how to practice detachment in Islam by keeping the dunya in your hands, not in your heart. Through dhikr, remembrance of Allah, gaining perspective, reflecting on the Akhirah, and being disciplined with the worldly life, we can learn to appreciate our blessings without becoming dependent on them.
