Stacey Cohen, Founder and Principal Designer of Mosaic Luxe Interiors gained national design recognition on HGTV Design Star. Cohen received her degree in Interior Architecture from Parsons, and The New School of Design in New York. She proudly presents a model, rooted in her steadfast commitment to value, relevance, investment and quality which keeps projects on time and, more importantly, on budget. Cohen’s design career is entering into its third decade and we’re thrilled to be having her here with us so our Ivy community can learn from her impressive industry insight. Shannon Peppeard is the Principal Designer and owner of Peppeard Design. After attending the Harrington College of Design, Shannon began a career in the financial sector, but continued to practice interior design on friends and family homes. After leaving her employer to have her two oldest children, Shannon began her interior design business. Shannon is in the process of refreshing her website that will include an online shop for pillows, and will also include her very first blog, which Shannon is calling "Pep Talk". Shannon recently began using social media for her business, which has been rewarding and challenging. Caitlin Murray is the founder of Black Lacquer Design which was established with the notion that almost every room can benefit from a bit of black and a little lacquer. Liz Goldberg is the Founder of her design firm CAROLYNLEONA, where she translates her passion for food, fashion and all things beautiful, into the spaces she creates. Liz uses her outgoing personality and design expertise to turn a client’s vision into reality. After completing her degrees in Interior Design, Textiles and Business, Liz began her career working in textiles at Crate & Barrel. There she custom-created fabrics while learning from industry leaders`Nate Berkus and Mitchell Gold. Liz was then handpicked by Herman Miller to help bring their vision of creating a human-centered approach into office spaces and homes. Susan Matheis, owner of Coffee Creek Interiors, Inc.. is also a partner in Studio One Sixty, LLC. Studio One Sixty is an interior design cooperative in Overland Park, KS, a suburb of Kansas City. Tonie VanderHulst - known to her clients as “DezinerTonie” is principal of Luv2Dezin and owner of a Decorating Den Interiors franchise. In the industry for over 25 years, she and her husband Pete, operate a full service Interior Design and Build Firm from Redlands, CA. Primarily their work is from Malibu to Palm Springs, CA.. Pete and Tonie are licensed General Contractors. Although they have an extensive educational background they both agree the best education is the “School of Hard Knocks” They both believe that “You can never know enough, and you never know what you don’t know!”. Meet Leyla Jaworski of Design Shop Interiors! In 2010, after 12 years in New York, Leyla moved back to her hometown in Sacramento, CA with her NY’er husband (Scott) a boxer dog (Tank) in tow and baby (Jake) on the way. Leyla is a self-taught designer who after ‘designing on the side for over 10 years’, formally launched ‘Design Shop Interiors’ in 2014 - from her kitchen table. In less than 5 years, DSI has quickly grown to a team of 10 with a waiting list of clients. She knows her way around a construction site and renovating homes is one of her favorite things in life (besides the 3 beings listed above). Susan, a mother of 5 daughters, founded Savvy Interiors in 2002 out of a passion for design and desire to find a creative outlet for her energies.
