About this episode
This episode discusses the importance of guarding joy in Christ while remaining discerning of spiritual influences.
In Philippians 3:1–2, Paul gives a command that feels simple but carries real weight: rejoice in the Lord. In the middle of warnings and challenges, he calls believers back to a steady, grounded joy not based on circumstances, but rooted in Christ Himself. At the same time, Paul sounds a clear warning. Not every voice that sounds spiritual is leading in the right direction. There are influences that distort the gospel and pull hearts away from what is true. Joy and discernment go hand in hand. This message calls us to hold fast to a joy that cannot be shaken while staying alert to what threatens it. True joy is found in Christ, and it is worth guarding.
