Ed walks us through the early days of pulling when tractors were farm machines first and competition vehicles second. From campaigning an Allis-Chalmers D21 across county fairs and national events to innovating with turbochargers and tire modifications, he shares firsthand accounts of what it took to compete when there were few rules and even fewer guardrails.
