Athena has voiced Satana Hellstrom, The Devil's Daughter, in our audio dramas throughout the run of the show. Atlas decided to disrupt Marvel's near monopoly on kung fu comics with this origin tale of two twin brothers (one's evil!) who were bathed in radiation in a bomb explosion in Japan as infants. Martin Goodman wanted to offer a robust & varied line of comics to compete with Marvel, DC, et al, so he needed a teen-humor mag. He used the art from Tower's TIPPY TEEN (1965-69) and only changed the main character's name...et voila...something to compete with Archie and the gang!
