About this episode

This episode discusses the relationship between faith and works as outlined in James 2, emphasizing that real faith produces action.

Works. James 2:14 asks the most confronting question in Scripture: "What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?" Real faith produces action. It moves your feet. It changes your life. It shows up in how you treat people, spend money, and obey God. If you've been claiming faith while living unchanged, this message will expose the difference between dead faith and real faith.James doesn't say works save you—Ephesians 2:8-9 is clear that salvation is by grace through faith alone. But James 2:17 says, "Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." Dead faith says the right things but does nothing. It agrees with truth but never obeys. It prays for the hungry but doesn't feed them. But real faith—the kind that saves—is alive. It's active. Abraham believed God and offered Isaac. Rahab believed God and hid the spies. Their faith wasn't just intellectual agreement—it was obedient action. And James 2:26 says it plainly: "As the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead."📖 Main Scripture: James 2:14-26Supporting: Ephesians 2:8-10, Genesis 22:1-18, Joshua…
