About this episode
This episode discusses how to find purpose and praise God in challenging situations, using the story of Paul and Silas in prison as a reference.
Hey Sis 💛 Have you ever found yourself in a situation you did not sign up for… but somehow knew God was asking you to stay? In Acts 16, Paul and Silas are beaten, thrown into prison, and placed in chains. But around midnight, instead of giving up, they begin praying and singing hymns to God. Then suddenly, an earthquake shakes the prison, the doors open, and everyone’s chains fall off. But here’s the part that gets me: Paul and Silas were free to leave… but they stayed. Because sometimes freedom doesn’t mean leaving. Sometimes freedom means staying surrendered. In today’s Bible study, we’re talking about what it looks like to praise God in the midnight place, follow the Holy Spirit over good advice, and trust that even the places we didn’t sign up for can still be used for God’s glory. If you’ve been asking God for an exit, this episode will encourage you to pause, listen, and ask Him what He’s really doing in this season. 📖 In This Bible Study ✨ Acts 16:16-40 Bible Study✨ Paul and Silas in prison✨ What it means to praise God at midnight✨ Why every open door is not always an exit✨ How obedience can impact someone else’s freedom✨ Staying surrendered when life doesn’t go as…
