About this episode

Rob Araki shares his journey from a teacher and coach in Hawaii to a pastor mentoring young adults in athletics.

Rob Araki - former teacher, coach, and athletic director for over 25 years in Hawaii. He grew up in South Carolina where he attended the Bob Jones Academy where he learned the value of hard work. Hear how his determination turned a one-way ticket to Hawaii into a job opportunity and how he made the most of his passion to help others. Now, a pastor, he brings his message in a unique way by mentoring young adults interested in teaching and coaching along with playing a pivotal role in Hawaii athletics and gives back to the children of Oahu by refereeing basketball and other sports on the island. He has a great and inspirational story that I know you will love. Email us at: coachingconfessions@proton.me Follow us on Instagram: coaching_confessions
