The transition from payment for the volume of care provided to payment for the value that care brings, is here to stay and as compliance officers we need to get our arms around these new payment models in order to determine how they impact our organizations and our compliance programs. Today I am talking with Chris Haney about Big Data and data analysis. This is another topic on my 2018 bucket list of areas that have intimidated me in the past. The good news is that Chris is an expert and explains these concepts in a way that non-statisticians can understand. Happy New Year everyone and thanks for joining me for the first episode in 2018. One of my goals for 2018 is to tackle subjects that have intimidated me in the past, see if I can get some clarity, and begin to feel more confident about my knowledge of those topics.
