Conversations with Bishop Peter Eaton

In this thoughtful and honest discussion, the Bishop is joined by two young members of our diocese, Wilson from Holy Redeemer, Lake Worth, and Zach from Saint Joseph’s, Boynton Beach. Together, they reflect on what it means to grow up in the Church today, offering insight into faith, belonging, and the realities young people experience within our communities. Their voices invite us to listen more closely, to understand more deeply, and to consider how we, as a diocese, continue to nurture and support the faith of the next generation.

The Bishop and his special guests are talking together about how God calls and guides us—sometimes quietly, sometimes persistently—and what it looks like to stay open and responsive to that nudge in our everyday lives.

Bishop Eaton talks about the importance of Juneteenth for communities with Archdeacon Hal Hurley who is the Archdeacon for African Descent Ministries in the Episcopal Church in Southeast Florida, and Dr. Kathyrne Wyche Latimore who is the President of the Theodore R. Gibson Chapter of the Union of Black Episcopalians in our Episcopal Church in Southeast Florida.

Bishop Eaton has a conversation with Mother Julia Gatta, Professor of Pastoral Theology at the University of the South's School of Theology. Exploring the meaning of Easter and the profound significance of the resurrection, their conversation illumines possible pathways for individuals striving to enrich their faith and deepen their life in Christ.
