As we step into June, it is time to set our next meaningful 30-day goal. As high-achieving women who are loving deeply, giving our best, living with courage, and actively becoming our Future Selves, we often encounter a very normal side effect of growth: discouragement. When obstacles arise or expectations aren't met, it’s easy to feel discouraged or lose momentum. What if your journey isn't meant to be perfectly linear? What if we could disrupt that heavy feeling just by changing our expectations and perceiving failure as momentum? In this episode, I share a personal journaling process I used earlier this year to move through discouragement and pivot back into empowerment. Together, we look at a simple, three-step pathway to keep moving forward: Flood your mind with progress: Acknowledge your wins (your past self would be so proud!).
