I’ll guide you through Viking’s new Itineraries and FAQs with Viking Cruise Line in this week's video. We talked about Viking ocean vessels, which have a capacity of 900 guests. Perfect for amenities and yet small enough to have that personalized service. You can get into the smaller, more intimate destinations and ports. Viking has been in service for 27 years and will welcome its 10th ocean vessel this year. . Viking Cruises has two expedition ships and river and ocean vessels. These expedition vessels can hold 378 guests and can travel anywhere in the world. Only 1% of the world's population has ever been to Antarctica, and Viking Expedition ships also go there. They also visit the Canadian High Arctic. South America is visited when they repositioned from Antarctica to the Polar Arctic so that you can visit Patagonia, Chile, other South American hemispheres, and the Mississippi River. Vilking offers river, ocean, and expedition trips. There is something for everyone, and the locations are diverse. You can see the world in comfort. . We then discussed World Cruises with Viking Cruise Line. They just listed to book their 2026 world cruise! A world cruise starts on December 19, 2025, and you are on board for 138 days. Another world cruise starts from Los Angeles to London on January 5, 2026. You board with 900 strangers and depart with 900 friends. Remember that Viking includes all your shore excursions! A great way to check that bucket list! . We then discussed Viking's quiet season Mediterranean sailing promos. Where you can get a better value by booking into the “shoulder seasons” - less crowds, better pricing - sounds like a win! Visit in the fall and early spring, when the weather is perfect, and you can spend time with the locals instead of the crowds. . Kim then talked about the itinerary she will take: Ancient Mediterranean Treasures. This cruise starts in Athens and lasts a few days, visiting Athens, Crete, Ephesus, Rhodes, and Troy. It focuses on ancient treasures and ends in Istanbul. You will explore these areas during the cruise and learn about daily shore excursions! We discussed Viking’s departure from Los Angeles, its visit to the Hawaiian islands, the French Polynesian islands, New Zealand, and its final destination, Sydney, Australia. Which would be spectacular. One of the main parts of that voyage is the cost of short excursions, so having that into your cruise fare, where you can choose a different short excursion every day, would be a spectacular way to explore French Polynesia in Hawaii. . Viking also offers a 32-day circumnavigation of Australia, a great way to see this area. The itinerary also stops in Bali. You can also see Scandinavia with Viking! Facts about Viking: No children under 18 are on board. WiFi is included. Small Ship Cruising. Shore excursions are included. All dining venues are included, and there is no charge for specialty dining. Beer and wine with lunch and dinner. No casinos on board. The spa is included on all the ocean ships. Nera means Black in Italian; keeping with its namesake, much of the color scheme is black. . Inside the bathroom, handmade inlay Portuguese-painted tile is present. Many details tie in the Peruvian area's history and culture. The lounge and bar areas have bamboo seating, using the materials surrounding the Peruvian rainforest. .
