| 3/26/26 | ![]() How to Build Urgency Without Being Pushy - Ep. 109 | Join the free D2D Sales Mastery Community and get access to the Fast Start Blueprint. Click hereUrgency is one of the most misunderstood skills in door-to-door sales. Most reps either avoid it completely or try to force it — and end up sounding pushy, desperate, or losing control of the conversation. In this episode, I break down how to build urgency the right way. We’ll go over the psychology behind why customers delay decisions, how to create urgency by increasing perceived value and timing, and how elite reps guide people toward action without applying pressure. You’ll learn how to build scarcity in you, not the product, how to create curiosity while lowering resistance, and how to stay in control of the conversation so the customer leans in instead of pulling away.I’ll also give you several simple, high-impact one-liners you can use on the doors to keep conversations alive, reduce pressure, and move people toward a confident yes.If you want to stop hearing “maybe later” and start closing more deals without feeling salesy, this episode will change how you approach urgency completely.Hope you enjoy. | — | ||||||
| 3/19/26 | ![]() How to Read Buying Signs - Ep. 108 | Join the free D2D Sales Mastery Community and get access to the Fast Start Blueprint. Click hereOne of the biggest skills in door-to-door sales isn’t just what to say — it’s knowing when to say it.In this episode, I break down how to read buying signals and recognize when a customer’s buying pressure is building and reaching its peak. You’ll learn how to identify the subtle verbal and non-verbal cues , and how to avoid the mistake most reps make — talking past the close. We’ll also walk through how to track where a customer is in the decision process, how to time your close so it feels natural instead of forced, and how to stay in control of the conversation without creating pressure. To bring it all together, I’ll give you 4 simple, punchy closing approaches you can use in real conversations to help customers make a confident decision.Hope you enjoy. | — | ||||||
| 3/11/26 | ![]() Smokescreens & Objections - Ep. 107 | Join the free D2D Sales Mastery Community and get access to the Fast Start Blueprint. Click hereObjections are one of the biggest challenges in door-to-door sales, but most reps misunderstand what they’re actually hearing. In this episode, we break down the difference between real objections and smokescreens — the polite responses customers use to end a conversation without revealing their true concern. You’ll learn how to identify when an objection is genuine versus when it’s just a surface-level response, how to ask better questions to uncover what the customer is really trying to say, and how to evaluate each objection through the value equation framework. By understanding whether the concern is about trust, value, timing, effort, or risk, you can respond in a way that actually moves the conversation forward. If you’ve ever heard “I’m not interested,” “I need to think about it,” or “it’s too expensive,” this episode will give you a clear framework to diagnose what’s really happening and handle objections with more confidence and clarity on the doors.Hope you enjoy. | — | ||||||

| 12/17/25 | ![]() Say Less. Close Faster. - Ep. 99 | Want to steal my Objection Handling Cheat Sheet? Click here. | 12/11/25 | ![]() Discipline Isn’t Motivation — It’s Memory Loss - Ep. 98 | Want to steal my Objection Handling Cheat Sheet? Click here. Most people think discipline comes from motivation, hype, or mindset. But real discipline comes from shrinking the time window where excuses can talk you out of the action. Winners act in 5 seconds, remove friction, create rules instead of choices, and build proof until their brain “forgets” their old excuses. Discipline isn’t about getting stronger—it’s about eliminating the space where weakness lives. In this episode we go over steps on how to develop discipline in your sales and personal life. We also review the value of focusing on measuring the reps and attempts over the actual result and emotions felt when attempting to develop greater discipline. I hope you enjoy this episode. | — | ||||||
| 12/3/25 | ![]() Why Broke People Love Long Explanations - Ep. 97 | Want to steal my Objection Handling Cheat Sheet? Click here. Most reps think more talking equals more persuasion. That’s backwards. In this episode I explain why long explanations are the poverty signal — and give a simple mechanical framework to shut up, ask better questions, and close more. The focus of this episode is to help you recognize that getting your customer to close is more valuable than spending time trying to build value and rapport with them. You can do these things AFTER they are closed. The sequence to ensuring your success is ->Intro -> Discover Pain Point -> Resolve Pain Point -> Close -> Build more RapportI hope you enjoy. | — | ||||||

In this episode, I break down the surprising connection between elk hunting and door-to-door sales — and why getting good at one can make you a killer at the other. After spending years in both worlds, I’ve realized there are principles that are almost identical. The way you scout terrain, read pressure, adapt to changing conditions, patience, handling failure, and time your shot in the mountains is the same way you win in the neighborhoods.I just got back from my elk hunt and wanted to share stories from this experience and how it can relate to becoming a better sales rep. I hope you enjoy. | — | ||||||
| 10/27/25 | ![]() What Door-to-Door Taught Me That College Never Could - Ep. 94 | Want to steal my Objection Handling Cheat Sheet? Click here. A little controversial but spoken straight from the heart. Today we break down what college never could teach me, and how door to door sales was the learning platform that gave me more insight on how business, people, and character development work. This episode goes over some lessons learned in school vs. lessons learned on the doors. I will add, there is a place for both but for someone who sees themselves as more of an own your future type of person, you will likely find yourself appreciating the opportunity d2d sales provides. I hope you enjoy. | — | ||||||
| 11/4/24 | ![]() 8 Tips for D2D Sales (from summer '24) - Ep. 48 | 8 Lessons Learned in 2024 Rookies can outsell Vets - I was blown away as I watched multiple rookies this summer absolutely dominate and put up numbers any vet would be proud of. Environment is Key - Who you are spending your time with off the doors makes a HUGE impact on the results you have during the summer. Close Close Close - Dominic Story. When reps stop assuming the sale and start lay down hunting, that’s when a HUGE summer turns into a LONG one. Don’t Act Like you Know it All - Don’t tell yourself or your team that they know everything they need to. It’s not true. Stick to the basics in your trainings, even if you’re already been through many of them. Stay humble and hungry to learn. When you have a big day, don’t use it has an excuse to not try as hard the next day. I Will Be the Best Mentality - This was my motto for 2024. Being my best meant I held myself to standards that could be measured. You won’t always hit your goals, but you can ALWAYS hit your standards. My standards were: Leave for area on time Work until dark Do my very best to hit my daily goal Have a Vision for Yourself - Start with your Why, Identify your Where and end with your What. Why are you knocking doors? What motivated you to do this job? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? If there are people in the D2D space who have achieved what you are wanting, then it’s possible. What are they doing? What are you willing to do to make this a reality? Set your Goals and Standards. Give Area/City a Chance - Story of Athens, struggled but then sold 50 in one week. People left and said it was a bad city. Don’t listen to the negatives, adjust and figure out what works before abandoning an Area/City entirely. Create your Roadmap to Financial Success. Everyone wants to be rich, but most lack vision and discipline to get there. Wherever you’re at, ask yourself if the company you’re selling for is going to help you achieve your Vision? Do you believe they ACTUALLY will get you there? All hat, no cattle. What are their stepping stones to long-term financial freedom? If you’re a leader, what unique offers do you have that help paint the dream for your ideal rep? Make sure you’ve shown your team that you’re as invested into their success as you are into yours. Even by falling short, if you “Shoot for the Stars and you’ll land on the Moon” | — | ||||||
