The story revolves around Ravan, the demon king of Lanka, who had defeated all the devas and brought the nine planets under his control. He was also a great astrologer and had kept all the planets in a position favorable to his son Indrajit's birth. The devas were worried that if Indrajit was born in this position, he would become invincible. To prevent this, they asked the planets to move from their positions, but they were helpless as they were under Ravan's control. The story highlights the importance of worshipping Lord Hanuman on Saturdays to avoid the evil eye of Lord Shani. It also suggests that offering oil or tail to Lord Hanuman can protect one from Shani's evil eye. To celebrate baby Krishna's first birthday, the demon Trinavarta, sent by Kans, arrived in Gokul as a furious whirlwind. He snatched Krishna into the sky, shrouding Vrindavan in darkness and causing panic. As Trinavarta soared, Krishna, surprisingly, became immensely heavy, hindering the demon's flight. Tearing at his neck, Trinavarta felt Krishna's weight as immense as a mountain. He strained to escape, but the baby's grip was unyielding. Finally, with a crash, Trinavarta fell to his death, his body resembling that of Tripusur, pierced by Shiva's arrow. The people of Gokul were astonished by the sight of the dead demon and the unharmed Krishna, celebrating their deliverer's miraculous strength. Yashoda, tearful but overjoyed, retrieved her son from the slain Trinavarta. The incident solidified Krishna's reputation as a divine protector. In this episode, listen the story of Putana. She was a demon who was ordered by Kans to kill young Krishna. Did she succeed in her mission? Or was Krishna able to save himself? Furious upon learning that Krishna, destined to end his reign, was alive in Gokul, Kansa ordered the deaths of all newborn boys born on the same day. His men failed, infuriating him further, so he tasked the demoness Putana with eliminating Krishna. Putana, disguised as a beautiful woman, cunningly entered Nand's home, gaining access and approaching the infant Krishna. Yashoda, unaware of the danger, allowed Putana to hold her baby. Poisoned and disguised with seductive beauty, Putana intended to kill Krishna by offering him her tainted breast milk. Yet, the divine baby, fueled by rage and strength beyond his years, sucked Putana's breast, consuming not only her poisoned milk but also her very life force.Putana shrieked in agony, her body transforming, her form expanding to a massive size, disrupting the sky and earth. The terrified villagers watched in awe as Krishna, unharmed, playfully rested on her lap. Upon realizing the demoness's demise, they retrieved their beloved Krishna and destroyed Putana's gigantic body, the smoke from the funeral pyre emanating a sweet fragrance - a testament to Krishna's heroic act and the purging of Putana's sins.
