She has an identical twin sister whose brain was damaged from a fall from the monkey bars when they were in nursery school, and since that very early age her sister has depended on her for everything. And, her parents had a very troubled marriage, and for years she would tell people that her mother killed her father—not by taking an ax to his head, but by the more insidious means of emotional and psychological torture.
